  I went in to find out about a professional scooter for my daughter. They only had 1 or 2 available, I did not like the color but could not find anything else - when I explained it was for my daughter's birthday and I had a couple of weeks before I needed it - instead of just trying to sell me something that they had the owner took my details and said he had another shipment due and he would call us when it came in. He called about 10 days later to tell us the shipment arrived and if we can come look we can see all of them before he puts them on display. My daughter chose the one she wanted and then Darrell still took it a step further and offered us a free lesson at the skateboard park. I was super impressed.

  We've had nothing but great experiences here, and have bought a lot of equipment, mostly for hockey and ringette. Today I went in with my three kids and the staff woman spent a lot of time making sure we found the right cross-country ski equipment. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and a huge selection.

  The Sports Store is fine I suppose if you're looking for some decent used sports gear. However, if you are going to trade something in be ready to be insulted by the price they offer you. I traded in a pair of skates for $4, and it's on the shelf now for $30 another pair they gave me $10 and are selling for $40. I'd love to run a business and reap the benefits of charging paying customers 300%-400% markup.
