  *UPDATED* Upon visiting the store this week, my concerns were addressed by the owner with a sincere apology. Had the staff member on duty that day communicated that it was an improvement maintenance issue, I would have completely understood. Maybe a learning opportunity for this team member in the value of communication and attitude toward a customer.

  I've been going to Pet Planet for all our food and dog washes since our 8 year old dog was a pup. The quality of service seemed to decline with a change in ownership a few years ago, but I've continued to shop at this location. However, that will likely change because of my experience on Sunday. I drive 20km to Pet Planet on Sunday to wash my dog, the dog wash was empty, and the store closes at 5, and I was turned away at 4:32pm! And I am pretty sure you are only allowed 10 or 15 minutes in the dog wash, so I would have been done 15 minutes before they were to close for the day.
