  We asked for a strawberry shortcake for a birthday cake special order but rather than a traditional angel food sponge cake, with a Bavarian cream type strawberry filling we ended up with a pound cake with a few strawberries on top. Were very disappointed. Over charged and underwhelmed.

  My first time there, I ordered a sheet cake for a friend's party, chocolate with mocha icing and Bavarian creme centre. It was absolutely superb. The cake was melt in you mouth, with just the right amount of icing and sweetness. It was a big hit. Also I had asked for the Happy Birthday to be in French, they looked it up and got it right. This will be my bakery of choice for celebratory cakes from now on!

  Pretty big selection of mostly Canadian baking classics like cinnamon buns, individual and large cakes and squares in classic flavours (Black Forest, carrot, etc.), lots of cookies and muffins, and more European-inspired stuff like danishes, strudels.... my favourite is the Copenhagen square. -- "Mimi's Cake Tour"

  Omg a hidden gem they have coffee and so many sweet and pastries did I mention fresh doughnuts yum
